Our Story

IT ALL BEGAN WITH FAMILY, FRIENDS AND HAVING A GOOD TIME

In order to spend more time with our two boys during those busy school years, Mike and I (Katie) started cooking for their teammates and families to feed them at their school games and events. As our food gained popularity, one thing led to another, and we suddenly began running the local high school concession stands for a number of years. With Mike's love for grilling and his gift of gab, Saladino Smoke was conceived.

At first we started out cooking for small, private events of around 20 to 30 people. As the demand and popularity for our food grew, so did the event sizes we catered for. It seemed like in the blink of an eye, we went from catering our boys’ football team to larger events serving 2,500 people or more.

Even with the growing number of people, we still strive to give every event our personal touch. 

Our customers are very important to us and we like to show them by taking care of all their catering needs.

Our family has joined and continued the passion for BBQing the "old school way".
